GENERAL FEE INFORMATION

Dr. Brown is at this location by scheduled appointment only as she also travels the valley via her housecall practice. Therefore the following fee policies are in place

  • A minimum appointment deposit of $50 is required to hold & confirm appointments. Deposit will be deducted from invoice total

  • Cancellation Fees

    • Please allow greater than 48 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees

    • 48 hour notice $25 cancellation fee

    • 24 h $50 cancellation fee​

    • 12 hours or less/same day $100 cancellation fee

    • No show $200 cancellation fee

    • Prepaid packages automatically forfeit a treatment visit

CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE PROFILE (for established/acupuncture patients only) 

Chinese Herbal prescription selection is based on many factors tailored to each individual patient.

​

Factors include

  • Patient tongue and pulse diagnosis

  • Diagnostic scan results

  • Five Element Theory

  • Principles of Yin and Yang

  • TCVM pattern diagnosis (often multiple patterns are present)

  • Patient history

  • Current lab results

  • Season/time of year

  • and more...

​

Most patients with chronic conditions have multiple pattern diagnoses. For this reason the herbal prescription may change or other blends may be added pending patient response to treatment, time of year, season, etc. 

​

Most herbal blends can be used for 3 to 6 months as needed on a case by case basis. Herbal blends are available in tea pill, capsule or powder.

​

THE CHINESE HERBAL PROFILE INCLUDES

​

  • Creation of an herbal profile as detailed above specific to individual patient, the additional time outside of the patients appointment needed to do so

  • The first bottle of Jing Tang Chinese Herbs specific to the patients TCVM pattern diagnosis with convenient home delivery

  • TeleVet Time Follow up (one included)

  • Does not include owner purchased herbs from unknown sources

  • For established acupuncture patients only

  • A la cart cost $180

 

Follow up, recheck or TeleVet Times fees apply for reevaluation and monitoring.

Access Dr. Browns expertise in between acupuncture treatments. 

  • ask questions and get advice

  • monitor response to Chinese herbs and food therapy

  • update treatment plans and more

  • billed at hourly rate in 15min increments for phone/email correspondence outside of in person appointment time

  • for active patients only
